Startup Washington Joins the Ranks of Startup America Regions

STARTUP WASHINGTON JOINS THE RANKS OF STARTUP AMERICA REGIONS
New statewide effort hosts launch party at The HUB Seattle
Seattle, WA May 15, 2012– Startup Washington, a statewide effort to support the growth of startups throughout Washington, officially launched in Seattle on Monday at a kickoff party hosted by the co-working space HUB. Startup Washington is the latest Startup Region collaborating with the Startup America Partnership, the national movement focused on providing startups access to the corporations, investors, and services that help young companies grow.
By leveraging the Startup America Partnership’s national network, Washington’s entrepreneurs will gain access to business resources throughout the state and country, enabling them to grow faster, be more competitive and create more jobs. Startup Washington has already amassed a large number of entrepreneurs and resource providers to support entrepreneurs state-wide, and is looking for more!
