Startup California Launches Startup Bay Area Community

STARTUP CALIFORNIA LAUNCHES STARTUP BAY AREA COMMUNITY

San Francisco, CA, June 13, 2012 – A group of serial entrepreneurs and leaders from an array of San Francisco, Silicon Valley and California entrepreneurial startups and organizations have come together to form the Bay Area community for Startup California, (startupcalifornia.org) in association with the Startup America Partnership (www.s.co).

As part of the Startup California launch, Startup Bay Area will host its launch event on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the WeWork (wework.com) space located at 156nd Street in San Francisco from 7-9pm. The event is completely free and open to anyone interesting in supporting or being a part of the ecosystem. This can be entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, students, corporations, and pretty much anyone in between.

  • Customers: Help to scale startups through new and existing markets

  • Capital: Highlight sources of capital available to entrepreneurs in various regions and sectors
