It is almost that time again! Idea Festival is coming soon. For the uninitiated, Idea Festival is a celebration for the intellectually curious. It’s an eclectic network of global thinkers and one-of-a-kind innovators bound together by an intense curiosity about what is impacting and shaping the future of the arts, business, technology, design,  science,  philosophy and education.

New speakers have been added to the lineup, including venture capitalist and entrepreneur Peter Sims, author of “Little Bets: How Breakthrough Ideas Emerge from Small Discoveries.”

The other recently named speakers are documentary filmmaker Cynthia Lowen, co-filmaker of “Bully,” a feature documentary about bullying; Maurice Ashley, the first African-American international chess grandmaster; Jodie Wu, CEO of Tanzania-based Global Cycle Solutions Inc., which helps transform the bicycle into a vehicle that adds value to small farms worldwide; and Rich DeMillo, former chief technology officer at Hewlett-Packard and now the head of The Center for 21st Century Universities.
