Presenter bio: Carolynn Duncan is the CEO of Founder Training Center, and founder of Portland Ten, a premiere regional accelerator in Portland, OR, with portfolio companies including ShopIgniter, Night & Day Studios, Orchestra Team, Plexus Engine, Alma Chocolate; Portland Ten alumni have generated more than $20MM in revenue and funding since 2009. Prior, Carolynn was affiliated with EPIC Ventures, a Salt Lake City-based venture capital firm, developed an entrepreneurial finance program and ran LivePitch events for FundingUniverse(now Lendio), assisted in launching the Eastern Idaho Entrepreneurial Centerin partnership with EPIC Ventures, Idaho National Laboratory, and BYU-Idaho, founded the Hundred Dollar Business, was a founding employee of TagJungle, a tech startup in the blog search space, and worked at $3MM seed fund Provo Labs. Carolynn also works with at-risk youth as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sistersand runs a private forum for social venture capital and impact investing, the Social Venture Society.
