Startups that can help YOU say YES!

In honor of Generosity Day, we thought it was appropriate to highlight a few of our “giving” startups that can help you say yes.

Today is the day to be generous to everyone. How many times can you say “yes”? Click here to learn even more about Generosity Day and how you can be involved. Also check out Startup America CEO, Scott Case’s blog post that appeared yesterday on Generosity Day can help your startups!

PSGive.org is an online tool that allows you to get cool stuff at great prices with fun online events. This is all done while helping benefit nonprofits. Truly a win, win. How it works: sign up for a free account and get three free tokens. You then are able to purchase more tokens to participate in events on each charity’s page. Participating in events for your favorite charity gives you the chance to win cool stuff at a discount all while supporting their cause!

iGivefirst is a simple way to donate to your favorite charities. Look for the iGivefirst button displayed next to the “like” and “tweet” while you’re reading a story online. A list of nonprofits doing work related to the content of the story will appear and you can choose which one you’d like to donate to. You can let your friends and family know via Twitter and/or Facebook and encourage them to do the same!

GivingSomeThing is an online platform that enables nonprofit supporters to donate real goods to nonprofits. This enables various nonprofits to get the exact items they need. Nonprofts can sign up for free and GivingSomeThing does not charge donors any transaction fees. There are various needs that you can contribute to; animals, children, education, and sports to name a few.
