Today's featured startup, InQuicker, lets you skip the ER waiting room.

Today's featured member, InQuicker, was chosen as part of our celebration of the first Google for Entrepreneurs Day being held today in Nashville, TN. InQuicker, is an accelerated company from the Entrepreneur Center in Nashville and a member of Startup Tennessee.
InQuicker is an online service that enables patients to skip the waiting room by checking in and waiting online for the closest ER, urgent care clinic, or doctor’s office. Co-Founder, Michael Brody-Waite, helps lead the InQuicker team in challenging the existing patient-provider standard from within the nation's health care capital.
Entrepreneurship comes naturally to Michael. His first venture was at the age of five, selling school supplies to his sister and babysitter. He got the inspiration for his most recent venture after waiting in his doctor's office for two hours. Michael had read an article about InQuicker as an emergency room tool, and he saw an opportunity to grow InQuicker to include more than just emergency room visits.

InQuicker started in 2006, in Nashville, TN, with Michael joining forces in 2009. Since the end of 2009, InQuicker has grown from 3 facilities to 118 emergency rooms and urgent care centers in 21 states. Their revenue has grown 47x and they've created 22 jobs. The InQuicker team members are not doctors or hospital executives, they're health care consumers committed to ending unnecessary health care waiting. Internally, they're committed to the professional and personal growth of each employee as well as creating a great place to work.

"We were tired of endless waits and a complete lack of communication at the ER. After surveying technology-driven customer service models in other industries, we made it our mission to bring proven best practices to health care service to wait at home for hospital visits via your web browser and make doctor appointments online. You spend less time waiting in the waiting room. You spend less time waiting at the hospital or doctor’s office" - Michael Brody-Waite in an interview with the Nashville Business Journal
In a video interview for his nominatioin for 2012 Nashville Entrepreneur of the year, Michael Brody-Waite tells fellow entrepreneurs to "have passion for your idea, and have faith in your gut and your team". Watch Michael's full interview here:
