What inspired you to start your company?
We come from the shipping industry and have worked at FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other logistics companies. It was painful to manage internal data, and we knew that we could simplify this. But why would the shipping carriers make it difficult to analyze their data and products easily? Turns out, it’s not their top priority. We wanted to help startups and small businesses overcome these shipping struggles - so we created 71lbs!
Tell us something unique about you and your co-founder(s)?
We have been in the parcel shipping business for decades. We bring all this experience to help our customers. We have used all that what we know to simplify shipping. We help our customers understand their shipping costs so that they can save money.
What problem does your product or service solve?
We help SMBs save money on shipping costs. Our FREE Service Level Compliance (SLC) tool monitors your shipments for any late deliveries. We do all the work and notify you every week of your approved refunds. There is no cost until we collect money owed to you, and then, we take a small service fee. Most likely, you were not expecting these refunds. No downside, only upside.
