What inspired you to start your company?
Sales teams are often taken for granted in the enterprise. We wanted to create something to empower the people who do the selling. We have spent time in sales, so we understand the burdens and responsibilities that go along with being on the front line. We wish SkuRun had been available to us when we were in the field!
Tell us something unique about you and your co-founder(s)?
Only in the United States could two foreign nationals and a California transplant come together in downtown Los Angeles to build a product that empowers sales teams around the globe.
What problem does your product or service solve?
1. Sales and marketing content is difficult to manage across departments, directories and formats. SkuRun provides organization.
2. FTP serves and paper catalogues do not push sales and marketing content to mobile. SkuRun is mobile.
3. Sales teams and representatives access old or incomplete collateral. SkuRun is accurate and up-to-date.
What are your startup's three biggest challenges to growth?
Implementing as much customer feedback as possible, keeping a healthy balance between revenue and growth, and convincing investors that empowering salespeople matters.
How will Startup America help you overcome these challenges and help your startup grow?
Startup America has attracted a critical mass of corporate support across the country. Not all startups service consumers. We are part of a different conversation that involves job creation and professionals in manufacturing, distribution and retail. Startup America puts us in that conversation.

What is the startup culture like in your City/State?
Los Angeles has a vibrant startup culture. There is a sense here that anything is possible and it is backed up by an ecosystem that makes anything possible.
Enterprise applications are cool again. We pride ourselves on having a creative environment that tackles any idea (big or small) that our customers have. We are always seeking to add new faces to the team.
