Posted on Jan 3, 2013

By, Anna Vital, Co-Founder, Vash.co; Founder, Funders & FoundersThis post originally appeared on Women 2.0Today, there are 380 million entrepreneurs globally. That means for every 19 people you meet – one will be an entrepreneur. What are the other 18 doing? What are they doing that makes money without them creating/inventing opportunities? Read Startup Communities with us on Bookshout!

Posted on Dec 13, 2012

By, Brad FeldThis post originally appeared here. I don’t think I’m breaking new ground by saying that book publishing is going through a rapid transformation. I’ve learned a lot about traditional publishing after working with Wiley for the past few years on Do More Faster,Venture Deals, Startup Communities, and Startup Life. I’ve also experimented with self-publishing with HyperInk for the book Burning Entrepreneur. And, as I continue to publish books in the Startup Revolution series, you’ll see a lot more experimentation from me, both around the writing and publishing process, as well as with regard to engaging with everyone reading these books.Recently, I starting...

Posted on Dec 11, 2012

This post originally appeared here, by hurldotnet This past Friday on December 7, the Hurl team traveled to Dallas, Texas to give a 2 minute company pitch at the Startup Texas “2 Minute Drill”, live from Cowboys Stadium. This was a pitch contest like no other and our moment to prove that Hurl fits any screen, big or small… or really big. (Left Image: That's Hurl on the biggest TV screen on earth!)We arrived to Cowboys Stadium around 10:00AM and did a test setup of the Hurl platform on the Jumbo Tron. The...
