Mary Simonds

Mary starting working at the Startup America Partnership as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. After a year of providing administrative support and assistance to CEO Scott Case, she turned her focus to the Startup America Regions.

As an Account Manager for the Startup Regions, Mary is focused on helping the 19 regions in her portfolio build stronger startup communities within their states since that is critical to the growth of young companies. 

Mary was born on the west coast, but spent the majority of her childhood in Montgomery County, MD. She received her BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Salisbury University and currently lives in Bethesda, MD. When not working Mary enjoys running, cooking, traveling, exploring DC, and keeping up to date on the latest fashion blogs.
